Oral Devices for Better Health

For those of us who play sports, who clench or grind our teeth or who have sleep apnea, dental appliances can help preserve and protect our oral structures or, in the case of sleep apnea, help us get a good night's sleep.

Custom-made sports guards can prevent injuries during physical activity, while night guards and sleep apnea appliances can help alleviate the effects of teeth grinding and sleep apnea, respectively.

If you snore, it could be a sign of sleep apnea, a condition that causes pauses in breathing during sleep. We can offer dental appliances that alleviate snoring and disruptions in breathing, allowing you to get a better night's sleep.

Sports Guards

Sports guards are important for protecting your teeth and mouth from injuries during sports activities. Our custom-fitted sports guards are typically made by taking an impression of your teeth. This impression is then sent to a dental lab where the guard is created using durable materials, usually silicone or laminate.

Don't let a stray ball or accidental collision ruin your dental health. Invest in a quality sports guard today.

Night Guards

Like sports guard, our custom-fitted night guards are made by taking an impression of your teeth. This impression is sent to a dental lab where the guard is created, typically using either acrylic or soft plastics.

If you grind your teeth during sleep, a night guard can protect them from damage. If you clench your jaw, a night guard can also help prevent this, and provide some pain relief in the process.

Sleep Apnea Appliances

With sleep apnea, your throat tissues over-relax and obstruct the airway, forcing the brain to wake you up to breathe. Sleep apnea can negatively impact your health and well-being. If left untreated, it can lead to high blood pressure, heart disease and stroke.

We can provide custom-fitted sleep apnea appliances to move the lower jaw and tongue muscles to open the airway. This helps improve your airflow and prevents you from waking up throughout the night to breathe.

Sleep apnea appliances are comfortable to wear and are tailored to fit your mouth perfectly. They are non-invasive and can be a practical solution for managing sleep apnea symptoms.

Consulting with a dental professional can help determine the most suitable sleep apnea appliance for your specific needs.
